Privacy
Your documents stay private
Passport details, medical forms and travel dates are personal information, and we treat them that way.
Your portal sits behind a private link that your advisor shares only with the travellers on the booking, and can switch off at any time. There are no passwords, so there is no shared password to leak. We collect what a trip actually needs, keep it only as long as the trip and its records require, and never sell or share it for marketing.
We handle personal information under Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. You can ask to see what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it once your trip records no longer need it, by writing to info@thetravellingtunia.com.

Questions
About the portal
Do I need to download an app?
No. The portal runs in your phone's browser. If you add it to your home screen, it opens full screen like an app.
Can everyone travelling with me see it?
Yes. Your advisor shares the private trip link with the travellers on the booking, and with nobody else.
What if I am somewhere without signal?
Before you leave, add the trip to your calendar, and every time and address travels with you on your phone. On ships and at remote lodges, the expedition team has your details too.
Does it cost anything?
No. The portal is included with every trip we book, from a few nights at one hotel to a month on the ice.
I have lost my trip link. What now?
Ask for it with the form at the top of this page, using the email address we have on file for your booking, and your advisor will send it again, usually within one business day. Or write to info@thetravellingtunia.com.
